Recently John of Get Off My Lawn gave me the idea to do a Best of the Comments Section post. I thought that would make for a great post and decided to tackle it today.

And then I opened up my comments in the WordPress Admin and saw that I have over 8,000 comments. I quickly realized that it would be tough to do the post since I’m too lazy to go through so many comments. Two seconds per comment would come down to and hour just looking through a quarter of the comments. And then I’d have to pick the crème de la crème.

Too much effort. (By now you should know I’m effort resistant.)

But I still wanted to do a post kinda like that. I thought over it for a minute and realized that as many times as John has made me laugh with his comments that I could do a Best Of…

  3. Hilarious and I’m not surprised…you could have a second career writing jokes for late night tv…does Canada have late night tv (aka jimmy fallon, jimmy kimmel, etc.)?? if not, then you and the wife should pack your bags now and move to the good ol USA

    • Why thank you. We have had the odd late night show. Alan Thicke had one for a while in the eighties. But none of them lasted.
      I’m sure there are times when my wife would love to pack me off to Hollywood, or anywhere else for that matter.

  4. That’s such a cool idea, I get so many awesome comments from people that are often better than my posts. Hmmm, maybe I shouldn’t do it actually. It might be bad if my best post were just things other people wrote…

  5. It’s strange how we follow the lead of whichever blog we are reading. I am a little more vulgar on a couple of other websites. Very funny comments!
